PRIMARY BEGINNINGS CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OUR PROGRAMS Your child’s education is important to us. With our combine 20+ years of education and experience in the Early Childhood field, our staff has implemented a curriculum that is based on the “Whole Child” concept. Our theme-based curriculum is broken down into age-appropriate activities and lessons revolving around their growing stage. The teaching staff is carefully selected based on educational background and experience. Ongoing training is provided through workshops and conferences. We provide nutritionally appropriate meals daily and participate in the Federal Child and Adult Care Food Program. We serve breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Menus are posted weekly in the front lobby to make parents aware of what is served from day to day. INFANTS - Believe it or not, children begin learning at birth! It is for this reason that we provide a curriculum specifically designed for infants and their individual needs. We give specialized care and attention that help develop the foundations for language and learning. TODDLERS & TWOS - Toddlers are very inquisitive. They love to touch, watch and explore. Our toddler program provides a wide variety of activities which help to develop fine and gross motor skills, sensory motor skills, communication and socialization skills. The two year old program expands on these activities and helps develop self-help skills and toilet training. PRESCHOOLERS/PRE-KINDERGARTEN - Hands on sensory experiences help children understand concepts as we emphasize language and literacy, math and science. These programs are designed to build self-esteem and prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. SCHOOLAGERS – KINDERGARTEN-5TH GRADE - We provide an environment of choices for before and after school care. Nutritional snacks are offered and opportunity to do and get help for homework is available. Daily outside activities help the schoolager to unwind after a day at school. During the summer, we provide a variety of camp activities that involve field trips as well as theme-based activities at the center.
