May Cooke

May Cooke is the Assistant Director for Falls Of Neuse Childcare Center. She started her career in education at the age of 16 years old. Each job to follow was within the education field. From there she went to school for business and education and received a bachelor’s in business administration/management and received her degree in Early Childhood. She has worked with ages 6 weeks to School age. She has been a part of the Primary Beginnings family since February 2019. Before working as an Assistant Director for Primary Beginnings, she was a PreK teacher at the Spring Forest Primary Beginnings. Before arriving at Primary Beginnings, she worked as an Assistant Director for 3 years.

Her goal is to assist the center and the teachers with their classroom and educational needs. She wants to make a classroom environment an educational but fun environment for all students. It’s important to her that she greets each family member with a smile each morning. “A child needs a place where love is given and not expected.”, is the motto that she goes by.
