We love October at our Raleigh preschool! Not only is the weather changing and the cooler weather makes outdoor activities a joy, we love all the seasonal activities we can share with the kids.
Of course, we can’t forget that October is all about Halloween! Even though things may be a bit different this year due to concerns about COVID-19, that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to do. To help you and your family celebrate the spooky season, we’ve rounded up some fun, free Halloween events and Fall Festivals in and around Raleigh that your kids will love.
Staying Safe During Halloween Activities
The NC Department of Health and Human Services issued guidance about Halloween where they placed common activities into risk categories. There’s plenty of advice and ideas, and we’re choosing activities that are considered lower risk. However, make sure to read the crowds and look to see if people are social distancing and wearing masks, and use your best judgement.
