12th Annual North Carolina Cuegrass Festival
Where: Downtown Raleigh
When: April 16, 2022
The 12th Annual North Carolina Cuegrass Festival is a free event with a kids’ zone for children with plenty of activities. Kids can get their faces painted or do some arts and crafts. There will also be all types of music for the entire family to enjoy. Musical acts will provide for dancing and fun.“Old Habits”, “Big Daddy Love”, and “Hank & Pattie”, are just some of the performers that are scheduled to play.
This year, the festival is spreading out on Fayetteville and Hargett Streets with more room to walk around and take in the sights.
The Children’s Market at Raleigh Night Market
Where: Moore Square Park in Raleigh

Arbor Day Festival

Another fun Spring event in Raleigh is the Arbor Day Festival in Dix Park. The kids can take advantage of plenty of activities like games and crafts. Over 175 visual artists are expected to be there displaying everything from ceramics to jewelry, metal, paintings, and more. This is a great family event if you have children of different ages because of the vast variety of activities and things to see. Enjoy live musical performances by local musicians and bands too.
