March is National Nutrition Month, a month where focus is placed on teaching children healthy eating habits.
Today, 1 in 3 kids are obese, nearly triple the rate in 1963. Childhood obesity rates continue to grow, despite the concern of advanced medical problems and psychological effects. Schools across the country have started to incorporate healthy nutrition and physical activity into their meal plans and curriculum to help promote healthier lifestyles.
Children Celebrating National Nutrition Month
At Primary Beginnings, we are proud to offer our preschoolers healthy snacks and lots of fun physical activity. Each of our Raleigh child care locations will be participating in National Nutrition Month to help promote healthy eating habits.
